Neighborhood scavenger hunt!! With the weather warming up, the kids are wanting to get outside more. This will be the first in a series of different scavenger hunts. There are even blank lines for you to add a few unique items that would be in your area. This is a fun yet simple game and a great way to get outside and have fun with your kids, away from electronics! Works with reading, counting, and even colors for the little ones.
All you need is to print off this Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt sheet below, grab a pencil or crayon to mark them off as you find them, and a bag to hold your finds!
*When on the print screen, you can select to print 4 to a page. That is how I got my scavenger hunt sheets smaller. It saves paper and works great for multiple players.
Now, grab a bag and take off on your adventure in the neighborhood! Here are some pictures of our Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt. Big success and lots of fun for my 10, 8 and 4 year olds.
We first decorated our paper bags to make them unique to our personalities!
Then, we took off to explore the neighborhood. We found a lot in just our front yard! Our dog Maggie came along on the adventure too.
We even found some BONUS items to add to our list like this pine cone!
Once we got back home we laid them all out on our driveway and sorted them into groups from our list. Everyone did a great job!
Go have fun and make some memories with your kids!!
To stressing less and playing more,
Melissa 🙂
