A delicious way to make a quick side of asparagus. The kids prefer it steamed but my husband and I love roasted! To make 1 serving follow the recipe below.
Ingredients
8 medium asparagus spears, ends trimmed
1 tsp. Olive oil
1 pinch sea salt
1 tsp. Slivered or chopped almonds
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet. I cover my baking sheet with tin foil for easy clean up. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tender-crisp. Mine took 19 minutes. Remove.
Sprinkle with almonds and enjoy!!
