Instead of buying the jar pizza sauce try this!! It is quick to make and tastes delicious on your pizza. I make my All Purpose Pizza Dough first, then while that is rising I make my pizza sauce. It has time to sit with the dough so everything is ready at the same time.
Ingredients
1 6 oz can Tomato Paste
6 fluid oz Warm Water
3 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated
1 tsp Garlic Clove, minced
2 Tbsp Honey
¾ tsp Onion Powder
¼ tsp Dried Oregano, Dried Marjoram, Dried Basil, and ground Black Pepper
⅛ tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional, I do not do this since the kids don’t like spicy.)
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together.
Let the sauce sit for at least 30 minutes before putting on pizza.
Can freeze also for your next pizza night!
