Spaghetti Squash Noodles

Who has used a spiral vegetable slicer before? If you haven’t, you need to try this!

They are awesome!! When I was on my elimination diet trying to cut out grains due to symptoms I was having, I decided to make spaghetti squash noodles! Now I make them monthly during our pasta night. Check out our Bair Spaghetti Sauce recipe to use on top.

Even my husband was blown away at how similar our dishes looked. I kept the squash noodles raw and loved it with the warm spaghetti sauce on top. They took on the taste of the sauce. He said he would have cooked them a little to soften them up. Up to you but you have to try this!!

Simply wash and peal your yellow squash or zucchini and slice off one of the ends. Put it into the vegetable slicer and turn until you have a bowel full of veggie noodles! Sauté them a bit to soften them up or pour your warm sauce over with them raw. Up to you! I would love to hear how you use your spaghetti squash noodles in the comments below.
