You have been BOO-ed!!!

October 6, 2019 by Melissa Leave a Comment

This fun tradition of sharing some spooky treats has been sneaked around neighborhoods since I was a child! We do not always get to it with life and time and last minute thinking but when we do, it is a blast! We thought of it early enough this year and got right to work. The kids and myself went to The Dollar Store and for $10.00 got SIX bags worth of items for passing out. We added in the candy from our trick or treat bag to finish it off. I would say it cost us about $2.50 per bag. Not bad and it makes someone very happy and excited when they find the bag on their door!!

The contents of each SPOOKY bag…

1 Skeleton arm

1 Slinky

2 light up bracelets

1 Halloween pen

1 Halloween notebook

2 Yum Earth Halloween Pops

1 Skinny Pop Popcorn

1 Annie’s Bunnies and Bats

2 Dove Chocolates

Each of the kids stuffed two bags to hand out to their friends. πŸ™‚ We printed out the “We’ve been BOO-ed!” instructions and poem. It is the same site I have used all these years! Thank you Christmas Organized Home! I scrolled all the way down the page to find the same poem and sign we have used in the past. πŸ™‚ Then we put them in the SPOOKY bags! Now it is time to go put them on our friends doors!! BUT FIRST…

We must get in a disguise. With all these Nest Doorbells we did not want to get caught! haha The kids loved acting the part too! What memories and laughter we created during our walk around the neighborhood this evening. These are moments I treasure so much as a mom.

Feel free to go print your poem and sign off at Christmas Organized HomeΒ and get to putting together your bags! It is always fun to surprise and give to those around you. πŸ™‚

To stressing less and playing more,
