We had this dinner for a Manic Monday night with steamed broccoli. Then we had the leftovers with our baked potato bar Thursday night. I am all about making life easier when it comes to cooking for the family.
This is a family favorite and approved by all!
Crock Pot Chicken Barbecue
Super simple ingredients. Takes less than 5 minutes to put together and it cooks all day!
Author: www.bairnecessity.com
Recipe type: Chicken
Cuisine: Crock Pot
Ingredients
- -3 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- -1 (12 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce (Please find one that does NOT have high fructose corn syrup in it! Read your labels.)
- -1/2 cup Italian salad dressing (I use Bragg's Italian Dressing)
- -2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Place chicken in a slow cooker. In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, Italian salad dressing, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour over the chicken.
- Cover, and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.
- Around 30 min before serving, I take the chicken out and shred it with two forks. I then put it back in to suck up more of the sauce.
- You can eat this plain, over rice, on baked potatoes, or as a sandwich. Just enjoy!
