Roasted Asparagus

A delicious way to make a quick side of asparagus. The kids prefer it steamed but my husband and I love roasted! To make 1 serving follow the recipe below.
Author: www.bairnecessity.com
Recipe type: Vegetable
Cuisine: Side
Serves: 1 serving
Ingredients
  • 8 medium asparagus spears, ends trimmed
  • 1 tsp. Olive oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp. Slivered or chopped almonds
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet. I cover my baking sheet with tin foil for easy clean up. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tender-crisp. Mine took 19 minutes. Remove.
  4. Sprinkle with almonds and enjoy!!
